Its been a while.  I had a wonderful birthday on the 12th and some final exams a long the way.  Also, Povertees, bought a silk screen press to add our logo to all of our tees.  

The reason I posted is because I finally gave in to the twitter craze thats been going on.  I Like that I can be updated with any news from my favorite stores, surf shops, and friends.  I like it so far.  Follow me at twitter.com/Matt_donahue.

Long Island

I worked 43 hours in Long Island New York for the KAR Competition.  In case you are wondering why every weekend I am traveling, I am a photographer for the national dance competition called Kids Artistic Review.  I am not just traveling for pleasure.  I usually only get to experience the local food and the interaction  and conversation with the local people.  The bottom line with New York is that the food is pretty awesome.  Pizza was amazing, and even the Mexican food exceeded my So-Cal burrito expectations.  Also, New York accents are pretty awesome.  Here are a couple of photos I took during the competition.
